1998 OUTDOOR SEASON
as of April 24, 1998
PLAYER REGISTRATIONS:
When submitting player registrations for authorization:
Player registration (address etc), team details (except for numbers), and player I.D. Book (if applicable) must be fully completed (page where sticker goes). A new I.D. Book must be signed by the registrant prior to being authorized by the District.
A Player is eligible to participate in competition one day after being authorized by the District.
The first time you bring in player registrations to the District Office, you must have a minimum of 11 players. Coaches and Administrator forms are also required at this time.
Remember, if you are leaving the District to participate in an Exhibition Game or Sanctioned Tournament, you must have Permission To Travel, authorized first by your Club, then by the District. If traveling outside the Province, you must submit the paper work to verify the event is Sanctioned by the appropriate governing body.
When participating in Exhibition Games (against another Club), game sheets are required. These are available at the District Office, upon request.
1997/98 REFEREE RENEWALS
Referees should have received their Referee Renewal Form from the Ontario Soccer Association. If you have not received your renewal by APRIL 30th , please contact the SWRSA office and one will be sent.
SWRSA will be implementing RIC's (Registrant Identification Card) and RAC's (Registrant Activity Card) for referees. Please be prepared to submit an updated photograph of yourself when submitting your renewal to the District Office. Your package (including cautions, ejection forms etc) will be returned immediately. Your RIC and RAC will be mailed later. As well, new referees will not receive their OSA badge with their package. These will be mailed later.
Due to the delay in the OSA mailing out renewal forms, a referee registered last year is covered
up to April 31, 1998 (not April 1, 1998).
